Qualification day 1
30th of Sep 2025
1st qualification day over. Interesting day. Shooting felt great at times and maybe half of the time I was solving some form issue. Good thing is, I was calm and neutral and was able to gather myself. Tomorrow will hopefully be more about archery than puzzle solving.
Quite ok score and I will continue with my determined and positivie mindset. Only second competition shooting 3 under, by the way. Anything’s possible. 😁
(16 will continue to individual eliminations after 2 qualification days)
Qualification day 2
1st of Oct 2025
2nd qualification day over. It went really well. I shot the best score of the day and climbed to rank 3. Weather was wet and cold, but I felt good the whole competition.
Tomorrow I’ll be shooting Longbow Mixed (with Tomi Lindholm) and Women’s team (with Inke Alaja, Anna Heinänen, Anne Laurila).
It was a fun day with Encarna, Johanna and Giulia. Thank you.
Day 3 cancelled
2nd of Oct 2025
Today is cancelled. No team matches today due to fog. Hope we even get to shoot them.
Day 4 cancelled
3th of Oct 2025
New day here at the 3D European Championships.
No shooting due to dangerous conditions (heavy piles of snow on the branches). Most likely no team matches or only 4 teams shoot, which would mean no matches for Finland.
The weather conditions were known yesterday and they could have arranged the course somewhere open field. We even offered to carry the animals.
It’s cold, but it’s the same for all. We are on a mountain! A ski resot in October. We are pretty dissapointed.
Day 5 Women's team
4th of Oct 2026
Finally some action.
4th place in Women’s team. We won our first match against Spain...
...but lost to Austria and in the Bronze match to France.
Our team: Anne Laurila, Anna Heinänen, Inke Alaja and Paula Virmasalo
Day 5 Mixed team
6th (out of 13 teams) place in Longbow Mixed team. We shot with Tomi Lindholm.
I’m really satisfied with how I performed. I don't believe any of my arrows were out of the kill zone. We did good. This time Austria’s team shot more in the middle.
